Getting Started

How do I create a village?
Open the app and tap the + button on the home screen. Give your village a name and optional description, then invite family members and trusted caregivers by sharing your unique invite link.

How do I invite someone to my village?
Open your village, tap the members icon in the top right, then tap Invite. Share the link via text, email, or any messaging app. The invite is valid for 7 days.

Can I belong to more than one village?
Yes — you can be a member of multiple villages. Each village is separate, with its own members, events, gallery, and chat.

Events

How do I create an event?
Inside your village, tap the Events section, then tap the + button. Add a title, date and time, and optional location. Village members will receive a notification and can RSVP.

Can I edit or cancel an event after posting?
Yes. Open the event and tap the edit icon (pencil) in the top right. You can update any detail or delete the event entirely.

Requests

What kinds of requests can I post?
TAV supports two types: Babysitting (childcare at a location) and Transportation (pickup and drop-off). Each includes a date, time, and optional description.

How does someone fulfill my request?
Village members can tap your request and mark it as fulfilled. You'll receive a push notification when someone offers to help.

Media & Gallery

How do I share a photo or video?
Open your village, tap Gallery, then tap the upload button. You can select photos or videos from your library. All members of the village can view and comment.

Can I delete a photo I posted?
Yes. Open the photo, tap the menu icon, and choose Delete. Only the person who posted it (or a village admin) can delete it.

Notifications

How do I control which notifications I receive?
Go to your Profile tab, tap Notification Settings, and toggle notifications on or off per village for events, requests, chat, and media.

I'm not receiving notifications. What should I check?
Make sure notifications are enabled for TAV in your device's Settings app. Also verify notification preferences are turned on in the app under Profile → Notification Settings.

Account

How do I update my profile photo or name?
Tap the Profile tab, then tap Edit Profile. You can update your first name, last name, and profile photo.

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to your Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice before anything is deleted. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data, including any villages you are the sole guardian of, will be removed. If you need help, email support@ojeelabs.com.

Is my data private?
Your content is only visible to members of your villages. We do not sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
