TAV ("we," "our," or "us") operates the TAV mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, first and last name, and profile photo. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information from those services (name, email, and profile photo where available).

User Content: We collect the content you create and share through the Service, including village posts, events, media (photos and videos), help requests, group chat messages, and children's profiles you manage.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including villages you belong to, events you create or attend, and requests you post or respond to.

Device Information: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token to send you notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Enable village management, events, media sharing, help requests, and group chat features
• Send push notifications about village activity and requests
• Communicate with you about the Service

3. Information Sharing

Your name, profile photo, and content you share (village posts, events, media, requests, and chat messages) are visible to other members of your villages. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share information with:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Expo (push notifications), and object storage providers to operate the Service.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication through Clerk. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Update your profile information, including your name and profile photo, at any time
• Disable push notifications through your device settings
• Delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children's profiles created within the app are managed by adult account holders. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
